Silicone rubber star tubing is generally used as a masking device for fastener thread protection during powder coating operations.

Star tubing is color coded allowing easy identification during changeout.

Due to the non-stick characteristics of silicone rubber, molten metal, weld splatter and grinding sparks do not stick to the silicone tubing.
